Radio in brief
The Holy Qur’an Radio was established in the city of Nablus in northern Palestine in the year 1419 AH, corresponding to the year 1998 AD. It is an independent, neutral media institution concerned with the Holy Qur’an and its sciences, and a registered company bearing the official name: (Al-Safa for Broadcasting the Holy Qur’an and its general ordinary sciences).
Idea and launch
At a time when many different media outlets spread; The idea arose to create a radio station that would broadcast the voice of the Holy Qur’an to provide a good alternative to a sweet, pure, pure source, illuminating the darkest night in which the believing souls thirsted for light.
The idea was embodied as a good seed that grew in the hearts of those responsible for it, to make a good, watered tree grow, bearing fruit every time, with the permission of its Lord, in the hearts of the listeners.... So the idea that crossed the mind of His Eminence Sheikh Muhammad Saeed Malhas - may God have mercy on him - turned into a reality represented by the beginning of the establishment of this Radio, and with him his sons to help him in this great honor.
On the twelfth of Rabi’ al-Akhir... in the year 1419 corresponding to the Gregorian year 1998... the sound of the Holy Qur’an broadcast emanated from the heart of the city of minarets... the city of goodness, blessing and love... the city of Nablus, a nest of scholars... at a time when people were in dire need of the spirituality they longed for. The soul becomes narrower as the world becomes narrower to it.

The origins and development of radio
The radio was established with simple capabilities technically and artistically, and with a narrow geographical coverage of broadcasting and transmission. Then, thank God, it developed technically with its computers and equipment, expanded geographically in its broadcast area, and grew with its equipment and reinforcement towers that were placed in different areas of the cities of the West Bank, where the broadcast of the Holy Quran Radio began to cover Actually 90% of the territory of Palestine, in addition to many areas of Jordan and parts of Egypt, and thus the radio broadcast is one of the largest local stations in terms of geographical coverage.
As part of its development plan, the radio station worked to deliver its audio and visual broadcasts to the world through our website www.quran-radio.com as well as smart phone applications, in addition to our pages on social media (SoundCloud, Facebook, YouTube, Telegram, Twitter, and Instagram) so that The sound of the radio reached the largest possible number of listeners. This development and expansion was accompanied by an increase in the number of employees and then the move from its old, humble headquarters to a new, spacious headquarters worthy of the Qur’an and its people, God willing.
The process of development and development in various fields continued in a rapid and intensive manner, with an upward trend, praise be to God, and the radio station is still working to develop its administrative, technical and professional staff to advance this media edifice and reach it to what achieves the goals and satisfies our Lord, Blessed and Most High.
Goal and message
Working for one goal, the radio does not deviate from it, no matter how long it takes and no matter how the circumstances change. Its goal is based on the call “to the path of your Lord with wisdom and beautiful instruction” and connecting people to the Book of God Almighty, through hearing its Qur’an, understanding its verses, and learning its rulings. And the call to act according to it in all aspects of life. “And as for those who adhere to the Book and establish prayer, indeed We do not waste the reward of the reformers.” This is to reach the ultimate goal of those in charge of the radio, that God be pleased with them, (May God be pleased with them and they are pleased with Him.) As for anyone who fears his Lord) Al-Bayyinah - Verse 8
Her approach
The Holy Qur’an Radio is neutral and independent, and specializes in the Holy Qur’an and its sciences and knowledge. Its leader is the deep belief in consolidating the Islamic faith, its sail is the correct knowledge emanating from the Qur’an and the Sunnah, its head is the unification of Muslims on this great religion that unites Muslims, and its call to adhere to the Book of God, and avoid sectarian and partisan differences. “And hold fast to the rope of God all together and do not become divided.”

To cover its expenses, the radio depends mainly on its sales of commercial advertisements for companies, individuals, and anyone who needs to promote their goods or services. The same applies to commercial companies’ sponsorship of radio programs, whether in an exclusive manner, or in a collective manner, and this is what essentially ensures that they cover the periodic operational cost. Then the ongoing development cost.
The radio also sought to secure other secondary sources of income to help it cover the cost of various expenses, so it created a project called “Messages of Faith”: a paid-for added service (SMS) that the radio provides to subscribers of Jawwal and Ooredoo in Palestine, as a combination of eloquent wisdom...and a sermon. Influential... a supplication from the Qur’an, the Sunnah, and the righteous predecessors, a reminder of Islamic historical events, and religious occasions such as the two Eids and Ramadan and the directives and rulings related to them, and a reminder of the dates of radio programmes. It amounted to approximately six thousand messages.
The radio also sells its audio versions of various programmes, recordings and lectures on CDs or flash memory, as well as some printed versions such as the Hijri calendar, which was sold in all offices in Palestine, and is now issued electronically, and work is underway to issue it for a fee.
In addition to the fact that its owner had dedicated this radio station to God Almighty, and it remains so after his death, he does not receive any profits from it. All its income is allocated for permanent development and endless ambition.

The Radio Program Committee is keen to hold its meetings regularly to develop program plans and study listeners’ need for specific topics within the study of prevailing societal, moral or economic conditions, or what seasonal occasions call for. Such as the month of Ramadan, the month of the Isra and Mi’raj, the month of Rabi’ al-Awwal with the biography of the Chosen One, may God bless him and grant him peace, the Hajj season, or the school and university season..., as well as following up on listeners’ suggestions by evaluating what programs were there, or what they needed from them, during the annual open wave on the anniversary of the founding of the radio. 8. Various talk and interactive programs; Social, cultural, and educational. In human development, the issues of prisoners, the land of Al-Masra, and Al-Aqsa Mosque. 9. Balanced entertainment programs, cultural competitions, and competitions for the most beautiful voices in recitation.

Exclusive to this blessed radio station from what they have chosen for it.
Vision
We are happy with what we have accomplished for the sake of His honorable face, Glory be to Him, and the service of His great book, the Almighty, and the delivery of the ether of the Qur’an to every place in beloved Palestine and its environs, until you can hear the Qur’an blaring around the clock in every home, place, street, and car, and hundreds of thousands of people cannot do without it.
The ambition for further advancement continues to preoccupy the minds of every member of the radio family and its fans, and each one of them works to achieve advancement on his own behalf in order to attain reward from God, Blessed and Most High.
